Enquiries and requests

If you have any enquiries or requests, please phone our friendly reception staff and they will endeavour to assist you. Medical enquires are directed to your GP and usually addressed by way of Telehealth or face-to-face consults. If your request is urgent, please let our staff know so this can be dealt with immediately. Our email is not constantly monitored and so urgent requests should be made via phone. For medical emergencies, please phone 000.

Patient privacy

Privacy has always been a high priority at Cape Naturaliste Medical Centre. Your medical record is a confidential document. Our staff maintain security of personal health information at all times. Our privacy policy, detailing how we collect, use and store your information is available on request.

Walk in appointments

Walk in appointments are welcome and we will try to accommodate dependent on GP and nurse availability on the day.

Home visits 

Cape Naturaliste Medical Centre provide a service for those patients who require a home visit after hours. During the clinic opening hours, our doctors will offer home visits at their discretion. Our doctors offer home visits when it is appropriate, depending on circumstances and considering safety of all staff.
To obtain a home visit during clinic hours it needs to be safe and reasonable for our doctors and within a 5km radius of our clinic. When the patient is triaged and a home or other visit is deemed neither safe nor reasonable a telephone consultation will be offered.

Feedback / complaints 

We are always keen to receive feedback about any of our services. Regular surveys are conducted in our waiting room, so occasionally you may be asked to complete one of these. If there are other matters you wish to raise with the practice, you may write to or speak with our Practice Manager. If you need to take the matter further, you may contact Health and Disability Services Complaint Office GPO B61, Perth WA 6001.
