Thomas Mildenhall MBBS (Hons); FRACGP
After graduating with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2006, Tom completed his internship at Fremantle Hospital and gained further post-graduate experience through tertiary hospitals in Melbourne, providing him with a grounding in paediatric and adult medicine.
He completed his GP Fellowship training across Melbourne.
Tom is passionate about all areas of general practice and has particular interests in neonatal and child health, adult and aged care medicine, men’s health, chronic disease management and travel medicine. He has a diploma in women’s health and has completed additional training in skin cancer diagnosis and removal.
Prior to returning to WA, Tom spent two years working in rural general practice in Jervis Bay on the New South Wales south coast. He then returned to Perth and contributed to the establishment of a new GP clinic in Claremont.
Having spent his childhood in Albany, and then subsequently working as a rural GP, Tom and wife Becky have been drawn back to the rewards and fulfilment that come through working and living in a rural community. Interests outside of work include surfing, travel, cooking, and building sand castles with his four kids.
